I am currently a PhD student at Texas Tech University (TTU) with a research focus on "Ultra Wide Bandgap Semiconductor materials for Photonics, Flexible Electronics, and Memory device applications". I was an Interdisciplinary (EE & PHY) research scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, Chennai. I was working with Prof. Balaji Srinivasan, Electrical Engineering, and Prof. Sivarama Krishnan, Physics on "Devices for Photonic and Quantum Technologies by Femtosecond Laser Micro-Structuring" for my Master of Science (MS by research) program.
I served as the President of SPIE, an international society for Optics and Photonics in the academic year 2020-21, and the Vice President of Optica (formerly OSA - Optical Society of America) in 2019 at IIT Madras student chapters.
