Project Associate: Femtosecond Laser Facility, Applied Physics, IIT Madras

[1]. Investigated experimentally the light-matter interaction of a wide range of soft and hard materials including Si, SiO2, YIG & BLIG – Epitaxial films, Intra Ocular Lens (IOLs), Ti, PMMA and Stent tubes (CoCr) using intense femtosecond pulses.

[2]. Designed, implemented, and characterized the ultra-precision machining workstation.

[3]. Patterning on 2D/thin film materials for Magnonics and in Lithography applications.

Project Associate: Fiber Lasers & Sensors Lab, EE, IIT Madras

[1]. Conducted the real-time experiments of temperature monitoring in the live-line cables using Distributed Anti-Stokes Raman Thermometry (DART) system designed by IITM at various locations (Sterlite Power Ltd.: Delhi, Haridwar and Gurgaon) in India.

[1]. Designed a unique LabVIEW code for the rotary disc servo motors and made the in-house fiber tapering setup for the evanescent wave sensing using a tapered optical fiber project.
